The Northwest Chinese Alliance supports the efforts of community partners and groups to showcase Chinese culture and performing arts by participating in different performances around our region. Over the past two years, we have had increasing requests and opportunities to join other organizations at very special events. Here is a sample of some of involvements.

Portland Chinatown Saturday Performances – in 2016
Over four Saturdays in May and September 2016, the Northwest Chinese Alliance co-sponsored and supported the efforts of Mr. Hong Cheng Zhao and his group to draw more residents and visitors to Portland Chinatown with the performances of Chinese and other community groups at NW Davis Street between 3rd and 4th Avenues, in Portland Chinatown.

Other Cultural and History Events
We also supported/co-sponsored other events to promote the understanding of Chinese American history in Portland, Oregon and the Pacific Northwest.  Over the past few years, we have supported the talks and presentations by the Chinese American Citizens Alliance on 1882, and the historic presentation by the Oregon Historical Society and the Portland Chinatown History Foundation on U.S., Oregon and Portland history.
